Talk Abstract: Understanding how features are changing users’ behaviour without AB tests. At times, due to product constraints or necessity of features, it just isn’t possible to run split tests but we still need to understand how the products we build change user behaviour. By borrowing techniques from Econometrics, where we’re less able to directly control user experiences, we can find the lift in complex datasets and use this to make informed decisions.
